The Occult teachings tell us besides our five senses (sight, hearing, touching, tasting, and smelling) we have a sixth sense. Your sixth sense is your psychic ability. Everyone possess's the seed, but you must nuture it so it grows, and some people are born with this natural sense.  I will go over the different types of psychic abilities and how to develope your own. There are many types of psychic abilities. Each is different and unique.  Some people are able to do all or some, while others just one.  The first one I will go over is the most widly known, Clairvoyance.

Clairvoyance
is the ability to see visions.  These visions can be from the past or the present or future.  Some people see flashes while awake, others will see them in dreams.  Some of the most famous prophets were Clairvoyant.  This ability has been documented for thousands of years.

Intuition
is one of the most strongest forms of psychic power.  It's that gut feeling you have.  It's that feeling of when "You Just Know" and you don't know why.  A common form would be a "Mothers Intuition".  Which can be the strongest.  Any mother would tell you they have had these feelings.

Telepathy
is the ability to transmit or recieve others thoughts.  Have you ever thought about something and a second later your friend or someone near you said the exact thing you just thought?  Or can you tell what someone is thinking just by looking at them?  These are forms of Telepathy.

Seeing Aura's
is the ability to see the thought-vibration of a person.  It shows in brilliant colors shining around a persons body.  It changes colors on the mood of the person.  Examples are rose-pure affection, blue-devotion, brown-selfishness, scarlet-anger, red-sensuality, grey-fear, and black clouds-hate and mallice.


While it is difficult to lay down a method of instruction in the development of psychic power, there is a plan of giving general information which, will put you upon the right path.  I will go over how to do so.

Concentration...this is the power to hold one's attention upon an object for some length of time.  Very few possess this power, even though they think they do.  The best way to develop your concentration is to practice on some familiar and common object..like a pencil, a book, anything you would like.  Take the object and study it in great detail.  Force your mind to examine and consider it in every part until every small detail has been observed.  Then lay the object aside.  A few hours later, pick it up again and repeat the study, you will be surprised to see how many points you missed on the first trial.  Repeat this again and again until you feel you have exhausted your object.  The next day take up another object and repeat the study.

Visualizing...In order to visualize you must cultivate the forming of mental pictures of distant scenes, places, and people.  Do this until you can summon them before you at will whenever you place yourself in the proper mental condition.  Another plan is to place yourself in the proper mental position, then make a mental journey to some place you have visited.  Mentally, see yourself starting on your trip, see all the points of interest, and return home.  Later, try to visit places you have never seen.

After you have deveopled along the lines of concentration and visualization, you may begin to practice your psychic powers.  Take a lock of hair, a picture, or a ring belonging to someone else.  Press it against you forehead lightlly, closing you eyes, and assume a receptive and passive mental state(consentration).  Desire calmly that you will visualize the past history of the object.  Do not be in too much of a hurry, await the impressions.

You will begin to recieve impressions concerning the person owning the object and will form a mental picture of the person.  Soon you will be recieving impressions about him or her.  You should practice on many different objects.  But do realize, it takes practice and patience.  So don't give up.





Out Of Body Expience

Step One: Relax your body

The ability to relax your body is the first step in achieving an OBE. This includes both physical and mental relaxation. The best way to achieve complete mental and physical relaxation is to use Progressive Muscle Relaxation. You start with your feet, you imagine that they are completely relaxed, do this until they are, then go up to you legs and so on, until your whole body is relaxed. Breathing is also very important to accomplish relaxation, example...inhale 1...exhale 2...inhale 3...until you reach your goal. Then you proceed to step 2.


Step Two: Enter the state bordering sleep

This step takes practice. The best way to accomplish this step is to concentrate on an object. Focus on that object alone. When other thoughts you can't control comes into your mind, you shoul be in the state bordering sleep. Practice this step until you can do it with ease.


Step Three:  Deepen this state.

Begin to clear your mind. Close your eyes, and look into the blackness in front of you. After awhile you will notice "light effects" this is just neural discharges, ignore them, this is normal. When they cease, you have entered whay they call, Condition C, which is a state that you loose all awareness of the body and all your physical senses. Practice this state often, this is the most important. After you have achieved this state go to step 4.


Step Four:  Enter the state of vibration. This step is the hardest to explain and achieve. It will feel like a tingling sensation, or like an electrical feeling thoughout your whole body. Here is a few tips on how to enter this state.

-Remove all jewelry
-Darken the room, so no light can be seen through your eyelids.
-Lie Down
-Loosen all clothing, to achieve comfort.
-Pick a location that is quiet, where you won't be disturbed.
-Enter your state of relaxation
-Give yourself a mental suggestion that you will remember ALL of your upcoming session. Repeat this five times.
-As you breath, concentrate on the void in front of you.
-Select a point a foot away from your forehead, then change your point of mental reference to six feet away.
-Turn that point 90 degrees upward by drawing an imaginary line parellel to your body and up above your head.


Focus there and reach out for the vibrations at that point and bring them back to your body. Even if you don't know what these vibrations are, you will know when you have achieved contact with them.


Step Five:  Learn to control the vibrational state.

Try to control them by mentally pushing them into your head, down to your toes, making them surge throughout your body. Practice, and when you learn to control this and when you have acomplished this you are ready to leave your body.


Step Six:  Begin with a partial seperation.

Keep your mind focused on the idea of leaving your body. Do not let your mind wander. Let yourself leave your body, but just a leg or an arm. Then return to a normal state. Do this until you feel comfortable with the idea.


Step Seven:  Dissociate yourself from your body.

One method is to imagine yourself being lighter and lighter, think about yourself being so light that you are floating upwards. An OBE will occur at this point. When you think about yourself floating upwards, you should find yourself floating above your body.

The key to an Out-of-Body Experience is practice and more practice. So follow these steps, and don't give up. Another thing I should mention is, sometimes it can be a little scary your first time. Just relax, and go with it. There is a notion that you can be seperated and not able to return to your body, this is not true. So practice, and have fun.
